Fallout 3 Walkthrough Guide written by Mitchell Saltzman. Fallout 3 Behemoth from Games. Press Basics: V. A. T. S 1. Every action you take in V. A. T. S uses up action points, with some weapons using more AP than others. Fallout New Vegas Towarzysze - Poradnik. Dead Space 3; Far Cry 3; Devil May Cry; Skyrim; AC: Brotherhood; Wied Crippling an enemy's arm will cause it to drop its weapon temporarily and dramatically decrease their accuracy. Unfortunately it means it'll be broken for you too when you go to loot it. If you're fighting against really fast characters that have a habit of running away from you, take out their legs to dramatically decrease their running speed. Some enemies, like robots and ants, have antennae or some sort of combat inhibitor. If you manage to destroy these, the enemy will be put into a frenzy and will start attacking their own allies. If you ever get surrounded by two or more of these types of enemies, definitely aim for these parts. Note that V. A. T. S doesn't have to be used for just targeting. It's also a great way to scout the area for enemies and to focus your aim for real time combat. All of this can be done even without AP. They are your primary statistics that are distributed at the beginning of the game and will play a huge part what kind of character you make. Since every type of character needs room in their inventory, it's highly recommended that Strength be at least a 5. It also gives bonuses to the skills Big Guns and Unarmed. Like strength, endurance is one of those stats that every type of character is going to need, and therefore shouldn't be neglected too much. Specifically, it gives bonuses to the Speech and Barter skills. In addition to that, it also gives bonuses to the Medicine, Repair, and Science skills. The more points in Agility that you have, the more action points are available to use with V. A. T. S. It also gives bonuses to the Small Guns and Sneak skills. Since you cannot go beyond 1. Bobbleheads. It affects what kind of ending you receive at the end of the game, whether or not you can enter certain areas of the map like the Raider Headquarters at Paradise Falls, what kind of Followers will join your party, and it will change how many of your conversations play out. Generally the lower end of dialogue choices are the ones that will bring down your karma. You can also lose karma by stealing, pick pocketing, killing a good or neutral character without them attacking you first, or completing evil sidequests. You can gain karma by finding solutions to problems without having to kill anyone, killing evil characters that are causing suffering, and completing good sidequests. There are total of thirteen skills to choose from and they include: 2. You need 2. 5 for easy locks, 5. Weapons and apparel will have their conditions degrade over time. With points in repair, you can repair these yourself by using parts from similar items. Without points in repair, your only option for restoring your equipment is bringing it to a merchant or weapons dealer and paying them a hefty sum of caps to repair it for you. Science: Science affects your ability to hack into computers. Like lockpicking, you won't even be able to attempt to hack many computers without having a certain number of points in science. Science is also important because it is a prerequisite for five unique perks. Small Guns: Points in Small Guns will improve your effectiveness with all types of conventional guns like pistols, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, submachine guns, etc. Sneak: With more points in sneak, you are less visible while crouched, have a better chance to pickpocket someone, and are more likely to perform sneak attack critical hits. TIP: Like with the S. P. E. C. I. A. L stats, there is a bobblehead for each skill that will increase it by 1. Since you can't improve a skill past 1. Thankfully you have a nice little compass in the bottom left corner of the HUD. This is where fast traveling comes in. From then on, you can fast travel to and from that location whenever there aren't any enemies around and assuming that you're not inside a building or some place with a ceiling. You must follow the marker on your compass and reach your destination on foot before you can actually discover the location. Whenever you level, focus on getting these skill up to snuff before delving into the others. Without strength, you'll constantly be throwing stuff away to keep from being over encumbered. Without endurance, you'll have a tough time surviving against characters with ranged weapons that force you to get close to them in order to have an acceptable chance to hit. You can also gain rads by eating foods or drinking liquids that are highly radiated. You'll suffer from some slight decreases in your stats that will only get worse every 2. Rads you pick up. In order to get rid of your radiation, visit a doctor, or use the item Radaway. Lockpicking 1. If you fail when forcing a lock, the lock breaks and the door can never be opened. The farther away from the sweet spot you are, the more resistance the screwdriver will have. First put the pin in the 1. Slowly move the screwdriver to the left and stop as soon as you feel resistance. If you got farther with the screwdriver, you know that the sweet spot is somewhere on the right side and just need to fine tune the position of the bobby pin. If you have nearly the same amount of resistance from both the left and the right side, then put the pin in the 1. Having a high lock picking skill doesn't really make this process any easier. All it affects is whether or not you're even capable of trying to pick higher difficulty locks. If you feel like you're not close to finding the sweet spot and your bobby pin is about to break, back out and try again. Bobby pins aren't exactly rare, but they're one of those things that you can never find them when you need them. If the results come back with at least three letters matching, then you can safely assume that one of the other two . From there it's just a matter of highlighting a word and lining up the letters with the word you guessed. If I previously guessed . It's in the fourth position. Since we've already ruled out the . TIP: If you're on your fourth guess and you haven't narrowed it down completely, just exit out of the terminal and retry. You'll start over and you won't run the risk of locking the terminal forever. The question is how will you decide to repair them. If your assault rifle jams will you're being attacked by multiple enemies, you won't be able to bring up your pip boy to use a stimpack until your character unjams the gun. It will automatically take a weapon of the same type and dismantle it to repair the gun you chose. As such, you need to make some tough choices of what to loot and what to leave behind. Don't pick up heavy weapons that are for a different specialty of combat. If you're a small guns specialist, don't pick up miniguns, gatling lasers, laser rifles, sledgehammers, etc. They weigh too much and you probably won't end up using them anyway because you're not skilled enough in their class to make them effective. If you're over encumbered and can't figure out why, check your grenade and mine supply. You probably have about 5. How high your sneak skill is, how much light you emit, how bulky your armor is, how much light you are standing in, how fast you're moving, and whether you're in an enemy's line of sight or not. During this time you're free to do whatever you want without getting caught. You can steal, you can hack, you can lockpick, you can attempt to pickpocket, etc. If you try to steal, hack, or lockpick while detected, you will be caught and the NPC will either turn hostile, or run over to you and take back whatever you stole. This is basically just to inform you that enemies are nearby. There are a total of 6 types chems (a few have some variations) in the game: alcohol (vodka, beer, wine, etc), psycho, jet, med- x, buffout, and mentats. The problem with them though, is that every time you use them you have a chance of becoming addicted. Here you'll be able to decide on your gender, name and your future appearance. Note that the appearance you choose will also affect how your father looks. Think hard about what kind of character you want to create and be sure to check out the sections above entitled S. P. E. C. I. A. L and Character Creation Tips for some helpful hints that will help you decide where to spend your points. Quest Completed. You. Tube: Mahalo Games: Fallout 3 - The Beginning: Birth (Time: 1.
